Instant RAM Booster provides a lot of features to enhance the efficiency of Instant RAM Booster you should optimize these features according to requirements of your computer. 

· To release RAM manually you can go to Release RAM screen and select the amount of RAM to be released and click on the Instant RAM Booster Freeup RAM Now button. It is advisable that you do not release more than 50% of total Physical RAM on your computer at one time.

· You can let the Instant RAM Booster automatically do the optimization when the Physical RAM available on your computer reaches below a specified level. You can do it through Automatic screen. The suggested interval between which Instant RAM Booster should check for minimum amount of RAM reached is 30 seconds to 1 Minutes. The minimum amount of RAM reached for Instant RAM Booster to optimize the Memory should be between 25% to 50% of the total Physical RAM available on your system. The amount of RAM to be released should be ideally 30% to 50% of total Physical RAM.

· Instant RAM Booster can release a specific amount of RAM after certain period. These values can be set through the screen. The suggested interval between which Instant RAM Booster should release RAM is between 30 minutes to 1 hour. The amount of RAM to be released should be 5% to 10% of total Physical RAM available.

· On the Startup/Other screen you can set the options to release RAM at startup, how Instant RAM Booster should be displayed, auto start of Instant RAM Booster with windows, hiding to system tray, low level RAM warning, CPU graph update interval and number of retries to make to reach the amount of RAM specified. These settings are already optimized and there is no need to change them. It is advisable that if you have selected the Automatically launch feature then set this Amount of RAM to release to 0 MB since there is no need to free up RAM at startup of Windows.
